Museum Letter

WALT: To make a letter for the Museum Team

Dear Museum Team,

Thank you for the time and effort you put to teach us about the old fashion games. The most enjoyable part of the field trip was the Maori checkers. The best part of it is definitely the strategy to win wasn't it like this.

The other games were fun like the nursery rhymes meanings, clown puppet, knuckles and the ring toss. Again thank you for the effort and time you put to give us that experience. Do you have any old fashion game yourself? If so please tell me.

Sincerely,

Taj

Our International Night

WALT: To describe the International Night.

It started with me and my family going into the front gates, I soon found my friends then sat next to them and waited. Soon after getting here one of the teachers said it was time to eat, it looked like the beginning of a war as the kids ran to the stall grabbing foods after foods. I first picked the spaghetti  then bread and a meringue, ate that then a Brazilian truffle and then a Hokey Pokey ice-cream.After all the food we were told to come back the stage my class was first Archie and I introduced our group and did the dance its called ´Chunri Chunri´ and went off the stage.

7 other performances went and then it was our turn again Archie and I introduced our group and we sang the ´Lonely Goatherd´. After that the rest of the school went and at end Room 1 did Head shoulders knees and toes in Korean everyone did it and then we left. It was fun, nerve-racking, enjoyable and sometimes embarrassing.

Have you done anything that was kind-of like that?

Forcing all kids to have pets is wrong

Walt: Write a persuasive argument.

It outrageous that even some people consider that all children must have pets. You might get  mentally hurt, broke and physically hurt.

Firstly, Everyone knows its hard to lose someone but losing a pet can change you. The time and effort you put into making a connection with them wasted. The person  who doesn´t care if you did something wrong gone. Years after their death and you still moan for them, you regret not giving them enough love and curse  yourself the things you could´ve.

Secondly they cost a fortune and to look after them phew you better be rich! Now there´s a lot of this ¨This is the healthiest for your ____  and get it now¨ yeah those guys probably care for your money than your pets. Vet bills cost hundreds just for a checkup. They say a lot about insurance but sometimes  you don´t even use it. From my point of view, I have a cute kitty storm, he demands food 24/7 and sometimes he dosen´t even eat it he is expensive.

Finally pets are animals and they can attack you. Dog, Cats even Hamsters can hurt you through biting, scratching and diseases these animals are born to survive with and without owners. Around 4.5 million Americans are bitten per year alone and cat kill 200 people per year. My little brother got jump at by storm.

In conclusion I believe that making all kids have pets is wrong. I´m not saying no one should have a pet it your ready for the mental challenge of losing one, the price for one and the safety of yourself. Then go get one thank for listening to me.

The Tall Shoemaker

WALT : To Analyse and create a character description.

In a truck there is a lonely man who´s only purpose is business and who´s neighbour is crazy. He will get a customer from anywhere... He is the Tall shoemaker.

He has no friends because and I quote ¨I don´t need friends money is the perfect substitute¨. He stands like he's the king, both hands on one cane and legs crossed. We found out that his chin is bigger than his head and ears smaller than eyes.

He wear's shoe's that are so shiny that mirrors are jealous. His hair is so puffy that kid's think that it's cotton candy and it's a dusty red colour. With a black top hat on top of his head with a tuxedo that's blacker than space and gloves that are made from silk.

In the end he is a weird gold loving man so when you see him say ¨Hello¨.

Do you know how shoes are made?

Rambunctious Monorail

WALT: To write our favourite moment at Living Springs here it is

Rambunctious Monorail

On Tuesday afternoon at 7:00pm Dad and I went in the car to go on the

monorail at Living Springs. Once we got there I got out of the car and started to run

up the hill. Then we all stood around the carts, Mr Gray forgot the keys for

the lock. While he got the keys Miss Pownall got us to play the Don't stare game .

Once Mr Gray finally came back to unlock the lock him and my Dad heaved

the carts up. After some deciding, Paytin went first she went down with

blinding speed her hat even fell off. After some people went  it was my turn, I went

Down Blitzing fast the most terrifying part was the cliff part. I looked like this

You got jolted to one side on an angle you felt like you felt like you will fall, Finally after ever one else
went it was time to go home.

Have you gone at Living Springs?
